Current idea for the build: PCPartPicker
Country: United States
Budget: $1,200 USD with a deviation of ~$200, with anything lower preferable
Apps/Games: Natural Selection 2, Arma 2, Arma 3, Multiple MMO clients, Skyrim, maybe video editing or modeling on the side.
Monitors: 1280x1024 native (5:4) with secondary smaller monitor which is rarely used
Peripherals: I'll be using my old gear from my current setup including mouse, keyboard, speakers, etc.
Usage: Gaming and perhaps streaming as well
Goal: Getting a computer capable of doing this at good frame rate at a decent price, Overclocking is optional but preferred.
I will probably be buying the parts on or near black Friday. Any suggestions are welcome.
My suggestion: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1t2ox make sure that air cooler fits, because wider air coolers often have trouble with bumping into RAM heatsinks. You could also just go with a closed loop water cooler, or something much less expensive such as the hyper 212 evo (I recommend that if you don't want to overclock to the extreme). That build focuses more on the video card, and less on ridiculous 2400 MHz RAM, 80 plus platinum PSUs, and motherboards which have features you (that's you in particular, not any person) don't need for $20 extra (2133MHz is still ridiculous though, you would probably be fine with 1600MHz). Also, if you are streaming, you should really consider getting a 16:9 1080p monitor.
Would bumping up the CPU to an i7 4770K be worth it for streaming? Also I like the suggestions you made.
i7s get a big advantage in streaming, so if you ask me, yes.

Alright nice, That puts the bill just above $1,300 with the i7 which is doable. Prices will probably go down a bit hopefully in the black friday sales.
Will think about getting a new monitor soon after, probably near Christmas.
