Can anyone recommend some good gaming/music headphones for me? I have looked at a few and the one I am currently looking at is: http://www.amazon.com/Technica-ATH-AD700-Audiophile-Headphones-Neodymium/dp/B000CMS0XU The only problem is that it doesn't have enough bass for music and I am unsure if it is fit for gaming. The other problem is it doesn't have a microphone so I would have to buy a clip on mic. Any suggestions or ideas if the AD700's are good? Thanks.

Why are you posting IEM's when he can apparently use Headphones? There aren't any headphones that are specifically fit for gaming. Keep in mind the AD700's are open air so sound will leak both in and out. If you need isolation go for A700's. For that price range the AD700's are ideal though, just get a desktop mic.

Thanks so far, I forgot to mention a headset would also be great, but the from reading the headphone thread, headsets aren't really the way to go due to the gaming negatives. So far it's still the AD700's. I don't mind the sound leak as long as it's not overly loud, but the only problem would be having to use a clip on mic or a desktop mic =/.
I've used a desktop mic for a while and I love it. It's not noisy at all and it works perfectly. I have my vent/in game boosted a little and it's perfect. You can get a nice Logitech one for $15-20.
Audio technica ATH-M50 are by far my favorite I used to have Icemat,Shitty walmart headset, then a sony one But my bro bought my the athm50 and MAN oh man ! I could use the headset in a noisy environment like industrial machinery and hear nothing,The isolation is Very good the whole headset also fold so you can transport it easily and it comes with a transport bag Also the cable is very,,,,VERY resistant ! Seriously buy Audio technica their products are Awesome quality like Ive never seen. As for your microphone,I personally use a blue snowball ITS FREAKING HUGE and it looks like its made out of Concrete but the quality is insane. Its a 100$ but TOTALLY worth it
I'm looking at getting me some these badboys: Amazon.com: Philips SHS5200 Reflective Neckband Headphones: Electronics Unfortunately Amazon wants 50 bucks out of me for shipping. Damn living on a goddamn island.
I always recommend the Sennheiser HD555s. You're getting a great piece of equipment for what you're spending. (Although that's the case with pretty much all Sennheiser products)
The ones you linked are pretty good. I personally use ATH-ES7's, but my brother uses those with a desk mic and he's quite satisfied with them. Also, as for the bass problem, the few times I used them they didn't seem to be lacking in bass. Unless your listening to really, really bass heavy music at a high volume you probably won't notice it.
