I heard about this about an hour ago. I was pleased to see this but apparently it's up to the judge to determine if the evidence will be used in court or not. So long as they play the exclusionary rule.
Can anything be done about the data that the FBI copied? It's not like you can just believe them if they say they'll delete it. Especially after all that has happened so far.
Essentially because of this, the whole plan of Kim Dotcom getting extradited to the US is slowly falling to pieces, with this, it will come to the point where we won't extradite, and the US will have to drop the case because he won't even be in the US to prosecute.

So if the search warrant was illegal doesn't that means that they have to return all of the shit they took during the search?
