I've been having problems with my ATI 5770 card when playing games, I've had blue screens and games randomly closing. Ebuyer said they would only refund/exchange if the could tell if it was faulty So I ran ATI Tool and tested for artifacts and I've got this as a result: Specs 4GB Ram Intel Core 2 Duo @ 3.2 GHz OS: Windows 7 64 Bit Ultimate Edition PSU: OCZ 1000W Seems to be getting worse PC just bluescreened whilst running the test
That is definately an artifact...
I've put the CPU back to normal and it seems alright now, will post if it occurs again
That is definately an artifact...
Alot of artifacts. On a lighter note, you can try a few things. 1.Reinstall display driver's even go back a version if newest still has problems. 2.Use GPU temp monitoring software and tell us what your GPU temp gets too. 3.If you want to avoid RMA'ing it and the temps are too high you can try a mild underclock. Good Luck. Edit: You didn't mention you had OC'd the CPU :v:
Make sure FRAPS isn't on. It causes problems with the ati tool.
cheers lads
