hi I've been trying to create a multy player: i create one and evry thing goes fine but when my friend is trying to join it says: server is not responding. i know this is due to networking, but i know my routers ports are open and i think we can use hitachi but i don't know how it works, can anyone help me with this? thx.

If you create a multi-player game in most source games like that, it's local network only. Meaning only people on your internet network can play on it.

Also I doubt you opened your ports.

Because they have working servers.

Try Hamachi just to see if he can connect. Don't expect it to be very playable though.
I forwarded all the ports for Half Life 2 on portforward.com. I was able to host as if it were a regular multiplayer server. Anyone could join without hamachi. You are clearly doing something wrong. Maybe check your UPnP settings.
well hamachi didn't help at all, he still couldn't join

UPnP is a router setting. Look for it in your router's configuration
