• Several Programs Are Messed Up Now

Earlier this morning, I tried turning on my computer, but it wouldn't reach post. (It did this before, replaced the RAM and CPU which got it working again, and I was distraught to see it do this again) I turned it off with a hard shut off, and left it for about 4 hours to do testing. I came back, turned it on, and it booted (took a little longer than it should/usually does) but it seemed normal. I recently tried playing Battlefield 3, always crashes with "Battlefield 3 has stopped working". I had it set to repair the install and so I tried launching Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Same thing, immediate crash with (Deus Ex: Human Revolution has stopped working). This happens to almost all of my more recent games including Battlefield 3, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Sleeping Dogs, Just Cause 2, Saint's Row: the Third, Left 4 Dead 2. Garry's Mod and Star Wars Battlefront 2 seem to work fine. Origin is also displaying a message saying "Your network connection might be slow" and my google chrome has much of its settings reset (as in websites that kept me logged in weren't, with the checkbox unchecked). Anyone have any idea what's going on and how I might fix it? Thanks. (Also verifying game integrity didn't work. It made the game go through an initial startup dialog, but it still crashes just the same). [editline]27th April 2013[/editline] Okay, nevermind. A reset appeared to have fixed it. There is definitely somethings screwy going on here but for now it's fine. I don't know if I can do it myself, but if the mods want to delete the thread it's alright. Nothing much to contribute here as far as I know.
