Did you join FP because of Gmod, or another source game? - General

Was thinking about this the other day. I know there was a question like this in a poll not too long ago, but I also wanted to know how many people here joined because of other source games.

I initially joined to make a shitty contribution to one of those gmod challenges. Pretty sure it got removed :v:

I joined for rust.

Joined for Garrys mod.

I just joined one day because I thought it would be a good idea, ended up staying.

Initially joined for gmod I guess but never really played it all that much, later kept coming on only for the tf2 section.

I really liked gmod when I was younger, and although I couldn't run it, and didn't even own it until like 2012 (thank u based violett) I joined because my friend who had gmod was here.

I wanted to register because guests weren't allowed to look at threads I think. It was something with TF2

minecraft and KSP pretty much killed Gmod for me not really worth playing spacebuild when i can strap togather rockets

I don't remember why I originally joined this site on an account in 2007. I know that I joined on my account right before this one for TF2 and then shitposted a bunch while acting like a massive fag. I then made this account after getting perma banned, and was found out a while later. Lucky for me Garry got older eventually so my accounts were freed.

I joined for Garry's Mod, More specifically the whole screenshot scene. I play garrys mod now and then, lately a lot more. Apart from that, I dont post in the Garry's Mod section anymore, I find the other sections of Facepunch more interesting.

I cant remember why i joined facepunch,but that was when Facewound section was around,wish it was finished but eh,it had potential. Also,i remembered about Facepunch only in 2013.

Joined because of Garry's Mod, stayed because of the programming subforum.

Joined for Avon's Stargate mod, stayed to argue in SH.

Joined a long time ago because of gmod, still make screenshots every now and then. Mostly stay now because... Not sure, I just kinda hit refresh while in the "read" panel all day.

I was playing Gmod and another player got mad at me and said "I bet you're really gay and you probably have a Facepunch account fag" which led to me googling Facepunch and I eventually made an account just to spite him.

I joined shortly after the forum opened back in January 2005 on my first account, back when it was all about gmod, so I could bitch about a patch garry did. Then I stuck around because the ban and eventual autoban system proved entertaining as shit.

Joined because of the TF2 Speculation thread around the time MvM was happening I think.

I also joined shortly after the game was getting more popular than JBmod. Joined to post pics and videos that weren't that bad compared to the other ones. Then I was a mod in like 2006 for a month

Joined because the community seemed nice enough and I needed another thing to waste my time on, anyway.

Because Garry invited me.

Friend showed me the forum back in like 07 and how hilarious some of the threads and discussion can be so I ended up lurking for years to come until I finally made my own account
