• Best Iphone screen protector?

The screen protector I have now has gotten air bubbles all over it (no idea how that happens AFTER its been put on) so I need a new one (3gs). I want a decent one though, not a cheap Chinese one, and it needs to be available in Australia, cause shipping from the US is really expensive. Anyone know any decent ones?
I would just go to the local Dick Smith or Telstra/Optus shop, buy screen protectors and ask if they could put it on for you seeing as they'd have more experience with them.
I've had my iPhone for a year now, and an iPod touch for 2 years before that. I've never used a screen protector and both screens are in perfect condition. Why bother with them?
Screen protectors are quite generic, there's no specific brand of them.
A cheapie works well. I prefer to opt for Invisible Shield because my phone takes a lot of abuse.

Seriously, you don't need a screen protector unless you're the most accidental dumbshit on earth. The screens are made of GLASS, so it's much tougher to scratch. Whoever puts their iPod/iPhone in their pocket with their keys should be shot on site.
Invisible Shield
Agreed. They're great and plus you get the lifetime warranty - so if something fucks up, you just request them to send a new one while you send back the old one.
none, i have never seen a scratch on an iDevice screen, the glass will crack before it gets scratched since its laminated
I'm a visible person, if I see a scratch at an angle, I'll affix my eyes to it and won't let go. Better protected and having a company back it so if it does, you're protected.
because people aren't you
Not my point. My point is if you put at least the tiniest bit of effort into taking care of your iPhone you simply do not need one.
the one att&t/apple gives you for free
not a cheap Chinese one
It's a frigging screen protector, most are made out of the same material using the same technique. The resultant product are all quite durable. Why does it matter?
ok so from reviews and experience I have a few recommendations. Firstly I would recommend a Zagg invisibleshield to anyone looking to protect their device and have piece-of-mind. I personally buy one of these every time I need a screen shield http://www.zagg.com/ Next I would recommend one of the several SGP screen protectors, they have a variety of protectors that serve different purposes like not holding fingerprints: http://www.sgpstore.com/mp3/apple/ipod-touch-4g/sgp-ipod-touch-4g-screen-protector-steinheil-ultra-series.html I'm not sure any of these screen protectors are able to be purchased in Australia but I would recommend ordering one of these if you were to order one, you will not regret it.
I order plenty of Zagg products and they ship to Australia without any worries. Might take a couple of weeks, but then again they do have the Australian Zagg store (even if it doesn't accept the same discounts)
Yeah and little granules of sand in your pocket, etc, scratch up the glass. I know from experience.
i don't play in sandboxes anymore or take my ipod to the beach so that's not really a concern for me. I've had an iPod touch 4th gen since it came out and honestly the back is more scratched up than the screen, which isn't scratched up at all, without a screen protector, whereas the back is concealed in a rubber slip-on case. now, simply being glass doesn't make the screen impervious to dust or sand or bullets or anything, but it's pretty tough shit and it doesn't scratch that easily. it's more preference really, some people prefer to hold their beer or soda in a cozy, some just hold it bare handed, all preference. i personally don't like the effects of a screen protector, they blur the screen to a noticeable degree, and touch interaction goes from being smooth gliding to...not. light and reflection diffusion is nice, however.
