New from Respawn Entertainment: "Duty of the Call: Post-Modern Warfare"
call of duty: ancient warfare
Finally, I hope whatever they are making is good.
The fact that modern warfare 3 is an all-around worse version than modern warfare 2 leads me to believe that all the actual good developers left for Respawn. It will probably be a good shooter of some type.

Well, it wasn't just the remnants of Infinity Ward; Sledgehammer Games aided in MW3, which, combined with IW's leftovers, makes me assume they tried playing MW3 safe rather than changing anything up big time. Poor guys, they were working on a third-person 'action adventure' CoD game that got canned by Activision in favor of Modern Warfare 3.
It's about time. I've been waiting to see what they've been working on.

They didn't even play it safe. I don't mind playing it safe when you have the audience they have. It makes sense to not radically change the game every release. Other series don't.
The problem with MW3 is that it did change and got worse for it. The netcode got worse, overall balance got worse, the campaign was worse. It was just an objectively lower quality game, and this is coming from someone who actually likes the series.
i hope it's not Another Military FPS: Kill More Brown People
too hard to take them seriously when their name is comparable to a fragmovie youtube channel
I actually deblurred that image on their site with that deblur tool and it looks like some post-apocalyptic game.

to be honest playing a terrorist in an Iraq-ish modern conflict would be fun, but soccer moms would not allow it.

Dont diss mw2. That game was pretty awesome, despite being fucked in the ass by the new milking law at the time that got it bareboned in a few things.

I was dissing Modern Warfare 3, Modern Warfare 2 was okay. Design and mechanics wise Modern Warfare The First One is still the best of the three though.
