• Portforwarding problems!

Right, so I have done this mutliple times but now I found something totally new. My DNS Servers ain't normal (ex.216.104.64.5 and 216.104.64.6) ip's but they are now something like this fec0:0:0:ffff::1%1 and I can't forward my games, torrents and other programs anymore. Is there fix to get my DNS servers look normal again?
Er, click on the reset button at the back of your router. Should clear all settings. Also, make sure to list relevant specifications such as router model/make, etc. [editline]02:44PM[/editline] Also, this is a program that I recommend you use to check your ports. Really handy and saved my ass more times than I can count. http://www.portforward.com/help/portcheck.htm That website has specific guides to almost every model of router in existence as to how to portforward.
Nope, restarting did not work. My router is A-Link RR24 and forgot to tell that my other IP address is also something like DNS servers but little longer. This fiasco came after I and my cousin had lans at different router.
Try this. http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/A-Link/RR24/RR24index.htm
I've used this multiple times, but this time I can't put DNS ip's since it is all that gibberish, that is the problem! Though I'm trying now to use some PFConfig which automaticly ports supported programs, maybe that will fix gibberish problem.
Try removing all of the settings associated to the connection off the computer.
Ok when I took away microsoft tcp/ip 6 from being used, it removed that gibberish and gave me clear ip's but I usually had two DNS ip's but now I have only one, hopefully it is not important to have two.
