Any updates regarding regions is a welcome update. I hated being paired with Brazilians. In a game where communication is literally 100% necessary.

Logic of such players: 1. Check English as preference language and any region that speaks this language. 2. Refuse to speak English and act surprised and offended when people call you out on it.

I mean, forget that, you NEED communication no doubt about that, but you have chat wheel, ping ability, and you can click on items/spells/enemy Hero faces to inform about readiness and missing, and a lot more actually. And there's not much time to be chatting anyway because ideally you should be in a constant state of focus (everyone's been there), and should rather simple use abbreviations in chat for Hero names like "sb charge bot" or "sf top rune", "care", "gtg b" etc.. So, I think sometimes people make a way bigger deal about language than it is. It can be disadvantageous (especially if the player is otherwise unco-operative) but it's hardly a deciding factor of the match yet.
