For those hating country, but liking Taylor Swift, keep in mind she's more of a country-pop / country-rock artist.

Few of her songs are pure country, although some get very close. She's said that the country part of it is mainly the way she tells stories in her songs, instead of how it sounds.

That said, she's got some good songs with a country sound.
