• Need a website where I can build own PC in Canada

I couldn't fit it all in the title, but I'm looking for a site where you can choose what you want in your PC, and then have them build it and ship it to you. I found a site called http://www.cyberpowerpc.com that was perfect. That have awesome prices for the specs that i'm looking at, but they don't ship to canada. Does anyone know of a site like cyberpowerpc.com that has good prices, alot to choose from, ships to canada, and will build it and test it before they ship it out? Cheers in advance. Also, Dell doesn't count. They want me to pay over $5000 for a computer that is half as good as the one I was about to buy from http://www.cyberpowerpc.com for $2100. Hah.
www.newegg.ca
www.newegg.ca
Does newegg build the computer for you, install all the software needed, test it, and then ship it to you?
You're better off choosing parts individually from Newegg.ca. Beats any prebuild. What do you want in your compute? No, it doesn't prebuild.
http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/saving/show.asp?id=2098914 is what I was about to order, before I realized it's US only. [editline]01:33AM[/editline] Anyone?
just build it yourself, its more fun and cheaper
http://www.facepunch.com/forumdisplay.php?f=243 + www.newegg.ca Once you have the right parts, computers are very easy and fun to assemble.
I don't have problems assembling it, it's just I don't feel like wasting time installing all the software needed and drivers and etc. etc. etc. And spending $100-200 for someone else to do it for me, I couldn't care less. So how about I get some sites that actually give me what I asked for instead of everyone telling me to make my own computer? That's not what I made this thread for.
Why not build it yourself? Installing stuff doesn't take that long... And drivers, if you get Vista/Win7, most drivers will install when you load the OS.

Quit posting about how I can "build it yourself quickly and easily for a cheaper price!" that is NOT what this thread is for. BE HELPFUL. Answer my question instead of giving me "alternatives"
Use NCIX, they are based in B.C. so if your outside the province you won't pay PST. They charge $50 CAD to assemble. Hope that helps =)

Took a peak at their website and it looks like it's the exact same as Cyberpower, where I can take a base PC and add / remove stuff. Good thing too because I'm located in central BC Thanks for the suggestion mate
So you're basically wasting 400 dollar just so you don't have to spend 2 hours putting together a computer? I just don't understand people like you, wasting all that money just because you're lazy.
There's Ibuypower & Alienware, I'm sure they ship to Canada. Alienware is very pricy.

If you add an OS it is installed without any bloatware (clean). Once you add everything if you miss a part or its incompatible they'll let you know. EDIT: Pick all your parts then add this (http://ncix.com/products/?sku=7842&vpn=PC-ASSEMBLY&manufacture=NCIXPC) And to all the people flaming him, its $50 dollars and it comes ready to play (clean and without reinstalled bullshit)

Also, quick question, is it worth spending another $155 for 6 more GB of DDR3 ram? I have 6 already for $155, and it'll be on vista, so I'm not sure if 12GB overall is really needed or not. I'll mainly be using it for games so I doubt it will be needed. Just thought i'd ask. My ideal computer that I made on NCIX is around $2300, and another $155 if I want another 6gb of ram (which I'm not sure about)
Why don't you take an hour to build the computer then donate the money to someone less fortunate then you?
Because I already donate to people less fortunate than me [editline]03:15AM[/editline]
For games I cant see why you would need 12GB lol
That's what I was thinking. I've heard from people that vista takes up 4 GB which sounds moronic, found out its only 2gb and figured 4gb for gaming is good enough.
4GB isn't actually being used but is being cached for faster access I believe
Good to know. I'm not really a computer whiz, so i'm not super sure how much is needed to run a game as well as you can, but I figured with my amazing 1.5GB or ram on my 3 year old computer being able to run all the games I do, that 6GB would be good enough.

Just make sure you get a 64bit OS so you can actually use all of it. 32bit will limit you to about 3GB of usable ram.
