Oh god I am not good with computer how did I get here: VMware mouse freezes up?

Disregard the other thread. I installed vmware workstation, I've got os x working almost just fine on it. The only flaw is, whenever I left/right click, the screen freezes up for about half a second to two seconds and it's really irritating. How do I stop this?
