Also, word from my uncle (he's a cop) says they're already getting rid of the Chargers because they have a problem keeping up in chases. The Crown Vics are far superior.

I love those Fords. They're a pretty iconic vehicle in terms of police related transportation. The new Chargers are pretty awesome as police vehicles too, although I really don't care for them otherwise.

What few Chargers I've seen used as police cruisers, they always opt for the V6. :frown: No wonder they have trouble keeping up.
I like the Crown Vic, but whenever I see a white Crown Vic I always shit myself because I think it's the 5-0.

Same. There's a few elderly people in my area with Crown Vics, so it's kind of an automatic reaction to brake a little until I notice the cotton ball hair behind the wheel.
Well Estonia, for being a really bad country to live in, actually has some good police cars.

I've noticed all the cops around here are starting to drive Tahoes. It just so happens that Tahoes are also one of the most common vehicles in Texas. Whenever I see a white or black Tahoe I instinctively start looking for the Light bars, spotlights, and exempt plates. They got these completely blacked out Tahoes and Chargers down in Shenandoah. I call them the black knights. There's no such thing as an unmarked police car, you just have to know what to look for.

Yeah, I live Texas and everyone and their mother drives a Tahoe. I don't think any of our local PD uses Tahoes. There are some police Silverados I've seen though.
