which is better? I was recently going to go for the 780 (or the TI version depending on the benchmarks) but looking at benchmarks the gtx 690 seems to be better than the 780 and the titan? should I just get a 690?
The GTX 690 is a dual GPU card. It's essentially two 680s, which is why it usually preforms better than single GPU cards. However, it's just as disadvantageous as having two graphics cards. You get all the same problems. I recommend you get the 780 or the R9 290X.

Flayne is right. I'd defiantly would stick with the 780. It runs a lot of the games out very well. Just make sure you have the right/compatible specs to run it with.
