Hopefully this will be a Bethesda quality DLC and not a half-assed add-on.
Should have been in the game to begin with imo.
Should have been in the game to begin with imo.
I really hope you're just joking, otherwise I might scream.
Y'know, I think that Bethesda should let Obsidian make some DLC for the game; they could make something pretty cool.

like an actually engaging story? :v:

Hey, looks like it's going to involve the Konahrik mask.
Holy crap, it's those stuffs frm Morrowind.
The desert villages.
Hell, I never memorized anything from Morrowind, I spent my time exploring and abusing the infinite flying glitch.
Trailer says "he" and "first Dragonborn".
Great, we have to defeat the god Talos.

This DLC will come out a year later than the original game, how the hell could the content be in the game to begin with?
I wish they would get their shit sorted with the PS3 DLC situation.
And then they just remove the whole dragonborn thing from the main game and you can only become a dragonborn by paying Bethesda $20 for their DLC.
How come whenever there is new DLC announced for Skyrim, there is nothing but bitching? This actually looks pretty cool.
Should have been in the game to begin with imo.
Why? Skyrim, although buggy, is already expansive and worth the money. Bethesda games have good DLC. They're short, but are packed with enough content to warrant the prices. Even though Dawnguard's price is pushing it, it's still a lot of content and is just optional expansions to the game.
(My statement excludes horse armor. That was a fluke on Bethesda's part)
This looks far better than Dawnguard and Hearthfire combined, especially after seeing Morrorwind landscape and villages. I am really interested now.

I love Skyrim, but the DLC's are really overpriced.
I wasn't planning on getting ANY of the Skyrim DLCs until they all went on sale, but holy shit this looks great, I might get it anyway.

So you think adding homesteads and the ability to adopt orphans (both of which are possible in free mods, but better done) is worth 10 dollars? And that adding a one off, unimportant simulation for Fallout 3 warranted 10 dollars? Just because its better than a 3 map mappack from a CoD game doesn't make it good DLC. If you want good DLC, take a look at Killing Floor or Team Fortress 2, where you still have paid DLC alongside free ones.
Last I checked, Hearthfire was $5: http://store.steampowered.com/app/220760/
Morrowind architecture...Skyrim graphics...
I want this expansion so much and I totally ignored Dawnguard and Heathfire.
Also, riding dragons. That's just badass.

It was a joke that went above everyone head apparently. I said that because everyone complains about shit that should have been in the game already or complains about minor dlc they got to pay for.

I think all of the DLC costs from Bethesda games up until Skyrim have been justifiable. They've also been updating the game A LOT and added in mounted combat for free, so we might see other similarly sized free things added.
How I see it is, Dawnguard is $20, and Skyrim is $60. Is Dawnguard itself worth 1/3 the price of the base game? Does it have the content to match? I don't think so, that's why I won't be getting it until its on sale. Dragonborn though, it looks way better than Dawnguard, it might even be Skyrim's "Shivering Isles."

Oh, I thought you were serious for a second
Twenty dollars? That's ludicrous, especially with Dawnguard being as lackluster and small as it was for $15. I really hope they're stepping up their game for this one.

Dude, look at the trailer.
There is dragon riding.
There is another Dragonborn.
There is Elder scrolls lore.
There is a whole new island.
There were at least like 8 new enemies in the brief video.
This looks to be a hell of a lot more worthwhile than Dawnguard.
Morrowind?
FUCKING MORROWIND?
That's it, I'm waiting for winter sales.
I'm surprisingly not disappointed thus far. I'm a giant fan of Morrowind and expected TES: Online style bullshit but they seemed to have nailed the style.
