Simple, just a quick summery of how you became an internet user
For me, it started when I saw this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQrC_C6SexI
I was already interested in making stuff in real life, so I got Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 to build stuff in there
It wasnt enough
I later got Spore (I knew so little about games then I thought it was excellent and well made).
and it still was not enough to curb my construction needs.
I finally found out about Gmod from the gmod idiot box youtube series.
So I got gmod, and of course steam with it.
Thanks to the multiplayer aspects of gmod and other source games I later got, I became involved within the internet community, and in extension, here at facepunch.
I became a member thanks to this site: http://www.lapoo.nl/spelletjes.htm
It had really fun games and everyone played it on school. When we finally got our first PC i played all day trying out everything.
After that i went searching on Google for pictures of trains and everything i liked i saved on my PC.
:)
One of my first games i had when i got my first computer was Warcraft III, i also started doing maps for it and sharing it online. I had dial up. Then i discovered porn and then i discovered batch "programming" and GMod and after that facepunch and programming and whatnot.
Curiosity of a 6 year old combined with my brothers influence.
When I was 8, my dad got me a computer and got me hooked up to the internet with a Yahoo mail account. I still have that account somewhere, buried deep in 12,000 unread spam messages
Thanks to Mass Effect, joined Bioware Social Network and then everything continued from there.
Runescape also played a big role.
i've been using the internet for as long as i can remember
hell, i joined this forum when i was 11
I started at Newgrounds because of something that had to do with Alien Hominid. Then I tried to make flash cartoons.
I used windows movie maker :v:
It all started with starfall, I used it alot when I was in kindergarten as it was very popular then youtube,
then steam, and finally I heard about gmod but I didn't register here that time because when they finally updated it to gmod 13 it was the first time I saw the facepunch logo. That's how I ended up here.
Well, we finally got a PC that could use dial-up when I was about 4. I helped my dad play Wolfenstein, Doom, and Redneck Rampage. After that, my mom got that AOL CD Internet access thing, and they had a few websites at that time for kids. Used to play on something called Kiddonet if I remember, and then later I played Neopets/played stupid early flash videos/games with my cousin, man, the 90's were the days.
well i guess it started few weeks after i got my current PC(around july-august 2007), when my mom bought a laptop and had a internet modem
i was looking for cheats, for gta sa, then looking for some free games and later on i've ended up registering on the local MySpace rip-off
that was generally terrible and i was ashamed for even having an account
Looking for cheats for singleplayer games back when I was like 6 years old
fuska.nu/hamsterpaj.net here in sweden, good times, 56k modem in the beginning of 2000
123spill.no was the shit
Got an office summer job in '07 and used my spare time to dick around on the net, joined a lot of forums and posted like a total faggot. Was linked to 4chan a few months later.
I remember searching for Lego stop-motions on Google Videos in 2006, and I guess thats when it started. I also remember I kept getting linked to Youtube through Google Videos and thinking that it would never catch on. Guess I was wrong.

I also remember looking at Fail Blog and Lolcats a lot.
When i bought an internet connection.
through torrents :i
stickpage.com
RuneScape.
That game was the shit back in the day.
There was one Digimon game online that I loved playing back in grade 3... about 12 years ago. Then fast forward to Interactive Buddy V1. I've wanted to be online since then, but we only had llimited Dial Up being out in the country.
Now going far into the future to about Grade 11 in Highschool. That's when I was using the Highschool's internet (Still had Dial-up at home) to actively browse everything I could think of. That was also when I first joined Facepunch under the name "Always Watching". But then became disinterested. although I was still going around everywhere. The next year was when I rejoined as Daemon White.
TL;DR: I started when I was 8 because of digimon.
I sacrificed a Voodoo2 to the Elders of the Internet and swore my soul to steam, nothing unusual.
i was youtube and then a lady post how to make $3,500 at home a week just from browsing the internet
I asked Sir Tim Berners-Lee if it was a good idea and he said yes. So I did.
addictinggames.com, runescape, habbo in that order

AG was bought out by nickelodeon sometime in the recent past, RIP
Earliest I can remember was joining a invisionfree forum for tamagotchi when I was still into that whole thing, and it just kinda went from there. I also remember being into Runescape around that time and (rather earlier or later I don't know) Habbo/Mycoke.
I had to sign Postal's ass to join the internet :(
For some reason, it involved AOL and happened in 1999. I just remember the dial-up sound and "You got mail." Don't remember what for. Three years later, my recognizable experience minus RuneScape, Newgrounds.
Diablo II, god bless.
newgrounds
[editline]2nd February 2014[/editline]
and ultima online
When I was 4, we used AOL online, lived in bumfuck nowhere Texas and used the internet to fix boredom. Then when I was I believe 8, I got into Newgrounds when it was still new, and the 2006 YouTube. Also Steam, got that when it was new, sadly lost my first account after getting it VAC banned.
