So last night, about twelve hours ago, I was looking around on Garrysmod.com, looking at a video about dynamic water, then, I opened a new tab and entered facepunch. It didn't work, so I did it again several times, then decided just to wait it out. When it finally loaded, I looked on it, and only the top banner was loaded, then after about two seconds, only the facepunch tab redirected to some weird porn site, then I got spammed by virus warnings, virus has been removed, etc. So then after closing all of the stuff, there was a windows security update thing. I immediately noticed it was a fake, because it wasn't even in my theme, and it was just a window with another fake window in it, saying I had 159 infections. I simply laughed at this and did a scan, took a screenshot of the window, and restarted, and I haven't had problems with it yet. Is it still on my system, or am I safe? It seems like facepunch did it somehow, but I doubt it.

Facepunch was down last night for quite some time.
Download malwarebytes and Spybot, run scans with both of them.
