Two and a half hours of stabbing Illuminati in the eyes, falling off buildings, and running through crowds like a lunatic? I like it already.

I would never want to watch a two and a half hour long assassins creed movie.
Meh, I don't see the point when I can just play the game every year and get 10-15 hours of entertainment. Seems like a lot of work and wasted talent to do something that is already done in video games every 12 months.
But we're definitely making a feature film, and we're approaching it as a feature film, as opposed to approaching it as a video game
Sounds like something more AAA publishers/devs should start doing instead of treating some of their game projects as interactive movies.

I'm looking forward to games becoming more cinematic. The games that people call "movies" are typically really well done and they have significantly more (well executed) gameplay than they have cutscenes. Metal Gear Solid 4 was a bit ridiculous and that respect but I haven't had a complaint about a game being "too heavy" on cutscenes or lack of gameplay since really.
I just went through The Last of Us and out of the 15 hour experience, only about 2 hours in total (and that's being extremely generous) were cutscenes. The rest was gameplay and the gameplay is great.

Well, you say that... But "Press X to Jason" is still a thing.
well first we should expect the games to honor the games.

Anyone buying a Quantic Dream game knows what they're getting into. I'm not the biggest fan of David Cage's writing but he makes some great interactive movie games.
