I am running XP Home Edition now, so I may as well leave the ram till last as there is no point in having 6GB total ram with a 32 bit operating system.

Do the drivers work on win xp if something comes up and you cant install win 7 for a little while?

No point in getting more RAM than 2 gigs even, PCP says and I've done my own tests that say you don't even need 4 gigs.
