I have a budget of $500 USD and suck at building a computer(I get too greedy), would anybody mind finding me the best build for that pricE or under? Oh ya I need a moniter and a keyboard(keyboard can be cheap) but I don't need an OS Thanks in advance
What's your OS, monitor resolution, and games you plan to play? Is the Blackbone a big case guys? I keep recommending it for low budget but never bothered to check if it is big enough for some of the higher end cards.
I've seen it in person, it can fit like 11 inches of video card or something. Also, I'd get this for $20 more for DX11/Lower power consumption/HDMI http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.514493
Up to OP. I would stick with 4870, however.
for $400 w/o a case try this: http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6622040&Sku=B69-4456 http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6075367&Sku=C19-6151 http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6701580&Sku=S15-0450 http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5250579&Sku=T13-2032 http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4691121&Sku=TSD-1000AS4

Boksa, I'm not referring to the double post but that build is just horrible.
Boksa, I'm not referring to the double post but that build is just horrible.
whats wrong with it? I didn't choose a shiny red and blue mobo?

And that PSU, not the best one for $60. More like one of the worse. I hope you are trolling or drunk.

sorry, but that build made me cringe

That's like a shitty used Honda Civic compared to an Antec/Corsair/Coolermaster as a brand new Corvette. [editline]12th October 2010[/editline] What happened to this subforum? It gets worse every day.
I don't know PSU brands very well, I was only saying that a 600w one would be sufficient.
Well I don't know much either. But I know enough to know that Coolmax isn't one of the best 6 or so brands I would recommend. However, the amps add up to 50 I think from the crappy picture from Newegg. So it might be good, but why take the chance?
To be honest, I didn't even think to look at the brand at first. Better to get a brand that is known for being high quality though.
Quality over quantity (watts). Anyway, where is the OP?
Hasn't been on in the last 24 hours according to his profile. He's either: 1.) Asleep B.) Not coming back, or &.) Dead.
I should have posted that it totals out to $400 w/ 2 sticks of ram
It still is a bad build compared to mine.
