I decided to spend my Christmas money on replacing my graphics card which is longer over due an upgrade. I set a budget of £100 and somebody found me this:
http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/7594804/art/sapphire-technology/radeon-hd-6850-1-gb-gddr5.html
But after choosing this card, I realised I would need to upgrade my power supply to at least a 600W one. And to accommodate this new power supply, I would definitely need a new case large enough for the power supply and good enough to cool the whole thing. FML.
Could you guys advise me the cheapest I can get each of those and also advise me on how to move my hardware from one case to the other as I have never done it before. :/
whats your budget for everything
post a screenshot of speccy and your current PSU/case
and don't buy from pixmania
scan, ebuyer, dabs
I've been down this road before, and I know the feeling of having a part and not being able to incorporate it into your build right away. All I can say is _do not_ just go out and buy the cheapest parts so you can get it in there as fast as possible, it'll come back and bite you in the ass twice as hard later.

I had already decided upon the graphics card, and Pixmania was the cheapest and seemed legit. Can't see why it would hurt to buy from them.
Budget is at maximum £200 including the graphics card but I really wish to spend less. :/
Current case came with it and the one I bought was:

What are your specs? Unless you're going to crossfire that I doubt you need a 600w psu.
Link to my current PC above. I was just told I would need a 600w power supply by somebody. :/
My current is 220 I think

I have a 6850 with a 450 Watt PSU and its been doing fine.
But you still should upgrade from that 220.
If you're Crossfire/SLIing you should have a 600 Watt PSU minimum in my opinion.
But I'll definitely need a new case to fit the new power supply in? :/
