Ok, so this has really baffled me at the moment and i'm really hoping someone can help me.
I'll try to explain my issue the best possible way by sharing what i have experienced.
This started randomly on Saturday morning and rapidly got worse. I was playing Rocket League and noticed that some cars didn't load and some graphical elements didn't load (Banners, some textures were blurry etc...) and assumed it was just a random one-off issue, which is was for a few more games, then my skype crashed and my game crashed. Which is very odd for my pc since it's normally really good. I decided to give it a restart in hope that it helped it. But no, then started the problems, my game wouldn't start occasionally, programs kept crashing a lot and i had a feeling my hard drive was failing. I wiped 2 hard drives that my games were on, Reinstalled Windows 10 on it and re-downloaded my games. Now the same issue is still happening. Cars and some textures don't load on Rocket League, game freezes going into random menus, i turned down the graphics from Ultra to Low to see if that helps but no still big issues. I went to check to see if it was just Rocket League this happened on but World of Warcraft seems to be having freezes aswell.... Although not as many.
When my game crashes/freezes/not responding, i've noticed that if i'm downloading something on Chrome, that download will pause until the crashing/freezing/not responding has stopped and sorted itself out. I don't know what that issue may be.
I'm bafffled to see what the issue is and its weird that when my game crashes/stops responding, my other programs seem to hang and act differently aswell... Any ideas what it can be?
Here's some specs:
Windows 10 Pro x64
Intel Core i7 950
AMD Radeon HD 7800
Gigabyte X58A-OC
8GB Ram
So i've ruled out HDD issues since i've scanned them for bad sectors and they seem fine, i've ruled out program issues since i've reinstalled all of them again as well as OS.
Unfortunately i don't have a spare Graphics Card to test it, but because its crashing my other programs aswell, it doesn't sound like a graphics issue right? Am i right in thinking that?
Any advice will be greatly appreicated.
Unfortunately its hard to google my issue when it only tends to be an issue when gaming (Which is mostly what i do on my computer)
Get hwmonitor and run it, play a game for a bit and post the results, also what power supply are you using and how old is it.
You might also want to run memtest
Was talking to the web dev team at work. And i think we've come to the conclusion that its probably the power supply, i think it only cost me like £25 and i've had a few random shut downs and sometimes it has issues turning on.

It's what happens when you buy cheap power supplies. You should always buy a good quality one.
