Going to get a laptop - which one though? (12000 SEK budget)

I do not really know how laptops are in terms of speed and processing power, but I do want something that will last for a couple of years. I live in Sweden, so stores around me would be ideal. I have no need for a stationary computer anymore, and my dad will take this one over. So which one do I pick?
I am not afraid of trying out new OS's, and I generally want something that will perform good enough now and a couple of years onward.
I have an Asus G73. If you don't mind the size, it's a total beast. I'm not sure what the USD value of 12,000 SEK is, but I got the G73 for $1,100 USD
Just for reference it's about 2000$.
Well I do not really have to stick to that budget, something around that would be optimal though. I need something that would last me for a good 6-7 years.
Yeah, get the ASUS G73.
Please, do not get an Alienware.
I have a G73, its great. It comes with some bloatware, though. My G73's specs are
ATi Radeon mobility 5870
Intel i7 740QM
8GB DDR3 RAM @1333Mhz ( I think, it might be 1600)
1TB HDD
oh, and it has a blu-ray drive.
That G73 looks like a wondermachine, even more so since it has a GPU that beats my current 5850. From what I can tell this might just be the best bang for the buck I can make?
The 5850 is more powerfull than the 5870 M I suppose?
The new G73's have a GTX 460 and a sandy i7
