• Weird Rife I've never seen before

So, my friend and I were talking about shooting rifles when he brings up that his dad owns a under barrel lever action rifle. What was weird was that you had to pull the lever down while the barrel is pointed up then you hear a *click* as if the pin was loaded. Then you're supposed to put in the round and return the lever back to it's original place. I suggested we look for the company logo but only found "Shanghai china" inscribed near the action which is located atop the rifle. I will have pictures up soon hopefully. But for now dose anyone know of any rifle like this?
i think this needs to be in the gun chat thread for a more serious answer.
Might you be talking about a rolling/falling block rifle? http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_59GYpEVAu0U/TD62khjjDHI/AAAAAAAAASQ/m5mfdOktxIY/s1600/Sharps_falling_block_action.jpg

So many rifles have used that method. Martini's are a good example.
So that's a pretty simple breach loaded gun then? That's pretty cool.
