I'd only recommend Crucial M4s, Samsung 830s, and Intel 520 cherryvilles when it comes to SSDs.
They are by far and away the three most reliable ones at the moment (not including server hardware).
Like Zephyrs said, if you're looking for an SSD you will be booting from continuously it better be of quality make. Samsung 830s, Crucial M4s and Intel 520s will last longer than a few months of continuous use.
