I was trying to get a gage on what type of screen I need for this HP pavilion zd7000A. I looked on google and I keep getting pages about its motherboard problem.
Also, if you can, tell me how a P4HT running at 3.2GHZ would fair with todays games.

OP, I just looked up the specs of that laptop. I'd be truly surprised if it could handle Half-Life 2, let along anything newer than that. It has shit specs. Don't bother with it.
Well, I've ran HL2 on here, even FarCry. We are putting 2 gigs of ram in here and the chipset has been changed due to the recall for the motherboard. Its now a Radeon X600, which isn't great, but its not as bad as the original.
Back to the screen, its 17in., so can I get pretty much any 17in.?
