No Mod API? Not interested.
This is so late
No Mod API? Not interested.
the resource pack is the first step to that????
Go home shacknews
This is so late
Shack News has always had a reputation for clocks.
Wow. They actually managed to put in like 0.5% of a mods content in the timelapse of a more than a month. I'm truly impressed.
What do they do at the Mojang office? Changes like these take a couple of hours at the maximum. :|
Have you seen A Tour Around Mojang's Office video? Their office is more focused on chilling out than developing stuff.
I've got to say, I enjoy playing Minecraft with a couple of my buddies, but the fact this was meant to be a "super amazing update" but only added horses, and some coloured blocks really disappoints me.
And they still look out of place, only slightly less so. How hard was it to literally just rip the mod's assets?
Jeb_ can you add some fun in 1.7?
Jeb_ can you add some fun in 1.7?
Thats a known regression post-alpha minecraft, I don't think they're fixing it anytime soon.
This is going to be sweet for faction servers. Goooooooooooooooose!
I'll stick to pigs.
They may not have added what they should have been working on, but after trying it, horses/mules are quite convenient with their speed & jumping abilities, allowing for super-fast travel. Plus more aesthetic blocks for building (carpet & stained clay) is always welcome. It's a good update, just not the update Minecraft needs.

I think horses are good as an update feature, but not the main and only one. It would be fine if they were a part of the bigger update..
I'm going to make a Horse-Food Factory. I'm going to name it, Findus.
I think they just need to get in contact with Eloraam and make Redpower an official part of the game. It added so much to the game, and kept with the style. If they can't add the new redstone bits, then at least the microblocks bit. I liked making sculptures that were fairly detailed, yet not insanely huge for that detail to stand out.
