I use Time Warner since that's the fastest around my little bass ackwards suburb but I hear FiOS is pretty fast if your city has fiber optic cables set up.
Whilst on the subject, what is the best ISP in Waterloo, Ontario?

Eastlink is a great provider if you can get them, avoid the main ISPs (Bell, Rogers, Telus).
Waterloo has a lot of technology companies, so I'm sure they have something speedy there unless they're a Rogers area. If that's the case, Teksavvy is a good DSL provider.

Doesn't look like Eastlink serves my area - huge bummer.
However, Teksavvy looks decent. It's for a house with 4-5 people (not sure if 5th will participate), so DSL might be a bit slow and in that case, would the cable be good? (15 down, 1 up)
I use FIOS. It's pretty neat if its in your area.
FIOS or AT&T U-Verse. I personally use U-Verse, but both are pretty damn quick.
