• Losing network access daily, occasional BSODs when repairing

Hey, I've been getting this really annoying problem lately where I'll randomly lose network and internet access. I tried unplugging and re-plugging my ethernet lead but that didn't sort it. It only fixes itself when I restarted the network adapter through diagnose and repair (which claimed it was an issue with my router/modem, but it couldn't have been because everything else on the network was fine). Restarting it was fine but now I'm getting the issue on a daily basis, and Windows is now BSODing most of the time when I try a restart. Just wanted to know if anyone knew what's causing and if possible how to solve the problem. Here are my specs if they help: Windows Vista SP2 (I know, I know, I might upgrade to 7 soon) Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.40GHz 4GB RAM 500GB HDD Network adapter's just your bog standard, integrated into the mobo type. Thanks.
I get that a lot as well.
Do you have the latest ethernet drivers?
Do you have the latest ethernet drivers?
Looks like I didn't update it; was sure I did. Updating now I'll post back if I'm still getting the problem. Thanks. :)
Like Beast said, try updating your ethernet drivers. If it's still doing it, your ethernet adapter's going out.
