We all know there's another Borderlands coming, but damn if I don't want [I]any[/I] sort of information about it.
We know it's confirmed, will be written by Mikey Neumann, and will probably look more similar to Borderlands 2 than 1. That's it. Maybe I'm just kind of extra desperate for content after the shit show that was Battleborn.
Thank god that Anthony Burch isn't writing it.
Also, it better make a REAL effort of making the gun parts look diverse and mixed. It's mostly the same parts repainted to another manufacturer's color scheme.
As one of the biggest Borderlands fans I know, I've known this is coming for years.
I just hope they do it right this time.
Get the long term balance worked out so the game doesn't die in Playthrough 2, fix enemy scaling so that things feel better, fix the gun creation algorithim so we actually get decent weapons, incorporate more pieces and types of guns, we really need the game to look at Diablo and the like more seriously.
All I want is for the ridiculous NG+ bullet sponges to be gone.

It'll probably enough 2 or 3 years until we see a Borderlands 3.
Fuck it, I want Burch back. BL2 was an entertaining train wreck of writing. Pre-Sequel had some great moments of development for Jack, but most of it was so fucking boring with so little to riff on that we barely made it through to the end.
I refuse to buy anything made by Gearbox until Randy Pitchford gets out of the company.
He's a fucking hack who takes everyone around him for a complete idiot.
No more Voracidouses, just have actual bosses that aren't colossal bullet sponges that have an arena sized, undodgeable attack that instantly kills you if you don't have healthgate up.
I hope they put more dank memes and pop culture references in this one!!!

it was never that bad
but people have really changed the general memory of the game by being so insistent it was like that
go back play it
you have to go looking for most of them, the few that are "In your face" aren't even that bad in context to be fair
