If only the developers would start increasing functionality of WhatsApp. Things like Telegram and Happening offers so much more and every month or two we see a new feature on WhatsApp, i like the app for what it is but it is embarrassing how far they are behind compared to others.

whatsapp doesn't require a Facebook account and only lately (iirc) got purchased by Facebook

WhatsApp is a messaging application that was around long before FB Messenger, it got bought for a tiny 19.3 [B]billion[/B] dollars. Pretty much the number one messaging app here in the Netherlands.
Edit: It is the most popular messaging app in the world with 990 million users.

What more does it need? I like it for what it is, it's not bloated. I don't want it to turn into something like the Skype app.
