Today, I turned on my computer, Sound was gone. I have downloaded drivers, used other headphones/speakers, nothing works. Any help, or will I have to replace my sound card?
Could we please have some more information?
OS, Sound Card information, etc..
Oh wow, I forgot about this. OS is windows 7, 64 bit, ASRock B75M-DGS (CPUSocket) Motherboard, I honestly dont know about the soundcard. If you want, just name some cheap soundcards. This is all that comes up soundcard wise, I cant remeber its name. Sorry.

I installed realtek as a last resort to make sure its not a driver problem.
Here is the link to the manufacturers website for anything that you may have missed: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/B75M-DGS/?cat=Download
Select this option: Drivers&Utilities Download - Windows® 7 64bit
When in the Download Drivers page, select the first option in your drivers category: Realtek high definition audio driver ver:6690
It will take between 1-3 hours depending on your internet connectivity but those are all the necessary drivers for your soundcard on your motherboard. If you are using an external soundcard, plz post that information in this thread as well.
DL'd it, and its asking for me to use the front Jack, but my back jack works. Any fix?
You should probably attempt to contact the manufacturer for assistance with that. Now, does the notification mean like use your back jack but you know that it already works?
I meant when you go to the sound area, and click on configure and it tells you what port whatever its bound to, and just as I came back it changed to the rear port. ANYway, now I plugged in my headphones into the rear, its not detecting i have the headphones plugged in. Im uninstalling my realtec drivers and redownloading just in vain hope.
Did nothing. Opened up my PC, couldnt find anything, but I plugged my front HD audio to hope it would work, but that did nothing at all.
