I don't know whats wrong with the l4d2 whenever I run it, it goes through the whole trailer and it goes to the loading screen where it plays this weird piano nes video game music like in duck hunt and then after a couple minutes it just shuts itself down.
What's causing it to do that???
Need more detail. Does it display an error at all?
Maybe a firewall blocks it?
Specs?
Opt in for the Steam Client beta (if there's one available).
It just shuts down without any errors I've tried running it without the firewall on it still has the same problem
Right click L4D2 > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game cache.
When that has finished, select Defragment cache files.
Also post your specs with the dxdiag in start> run and post your CPU model number, Amount of ram available and then go to Display and copy down your video card details.
