Whenever I play something like GTA4 and listen to the radio in the car the sound is extremely staticy/crackling. It does happen out of GTA4 too. I have the latest drivers. I think it mainly happens when the sound is loudish.
the sound is onboard so I was wondering if this is just how onboard sound is or if there is a problem with the motherboard.
I may try installing my old soundcard and see if it still happens.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

not really, thats true with video though.
Normaly your speakers are fucked, or the onboard sound card is blown. I had that when I turned mine up. And blew the sound card, so it sounds like shit.
If that is the issue get a new sound card, there not to cheap. And not to pricy, It depends on the one you want.
