So me and my bf were thinking of staring a youtube channel, and one of the things we were thinking of doing was gaming. I was looking at an Elgato capture card, but I can't really afford to drop £100 on a capture card we wont use that often. If the only way is via a capture cards then I wouldn't mind spending around £50 or so on one.
So if you have any suggestions on capture cards we could use or any other ways of recording gameplay then it would be greatly appreciated.
I'm quite sure the only way is a capture card. You need to catch the HDMI signal input / output and still be able to see it so you can play. A capture card does exactly this, and as far as I know, nothing else does.
