Any case suggestions?
Antec 300/900 for case. Get a good CPU cooler. The price difference between a 500GB/1TB shouldn't be too much, see if you can get the TB. Mobo/CPU looks fine. The 4890 isn't really worth the extra money. Get a 4870.

Get this CPU http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-244-AM Mobo http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-199-GI Get this GPU http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-206-SP Cheaper than the one you posted.
Yeah, a phenom isn't bad either. But if he were to OC that 8600, the results would be great. AMD/ATI=Budget Intel/nVidia=Power
Just get Soldier's recommendation and the PSU is overkill for the system. and what furry said, except for the cooler.

I'm just going to stick with 500 gb, because i've got my old one that i can put in to. I'll read new posts in a minute.
The cooler is for overclocking, :buddy: gman_freeman, it'd probably be better if you followed Soldier's MOBO/CPU change, and then you don't have to get a fan.

Not sure. I could just get a zalman. CPU fan - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-037-ZA - 29.89
The Phenom II 955 will perform just as good as an overclocked 8500, without the CPU fan.
The 955 is more 'future-proof' if you can say so. More games are utilizing quad-cores. It's overclocks very well.. you can definitely get 4Ghz on stock air cooling if your lucky but with a solid CPU Cooler you can really push it.
All for the same price as an 8500 :buddy: With your graphics, the money saved from the Intel processor, fan, and mobo could be spent on a 4870x2
Hmm... Sounds good. Ok then GPU - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-206-SP 159.99 Mobo - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-199-GI - 81.99 CPU - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-244-AM - 149.99 Should i still get the fan? I might just get it for safety, and if i ever overclock.
You don't need a 2GB 4870, and AMD's stock coolers are pretty good, especially the one on the 955.
If you want to. As long as you don't live in a volcano and your not do some extreme overclocking you'll be fine on a stock cooler.
If you're running at 2500x1600 get a 2GB one, otherwise don't. It depends on how high you want to clock, though you shouldn't need to OC at all. Maybe to 3.5ghz.

Is this good? Comes to a rough total of 630 GBP
all the links are broken
Stock fan is fine unless you are doing hardcore overclocking.
