What are some games that feature corruption of the main character?
Some examples I can think of from the top of my head are prince of persia two thrones and rise of nations rise of legends.
If it helps, I read a story not long ago where the main guy becomes progressively corrupted and everytime he returns one of the other characters to normal, his eyes become more and and more red, while more and more of his face becomes grey-black.
edit - he also has fits of rage and loses sanity each time that happens.
The newer Syndicate game, possibly?
