• Need Data Recovered, Please Reccomend Services

My laptop has suffered a major hard-drive failiure after taking physical shock. The damage is bad enough that the drive won't even spin. I'm looking to get all of the data off of it, assuming that's even possible with the damage it's taken. Restoring from a backup is not an option, as I have been stupid about backing up consistently. What would be the best data recovery service to contact? I'm looking to get this problem fixed quickly, as there's a deadline approaching at the end of the week. Estimated price would also be appreciated. Drive Specs: 3.5" 7200 RPM Serial ATA 500GB Thank you for reading, I hope you can help.
Just a heads up, recovering a 500GB Hard drive won't be cheap. It will be at least $500, if you are lucky enough. Most companies will charge $750-1000+, however For drives with severe mechanical damages, expect the absolute minimum price to be $1000
Holy fuck, I'll be paying this one off for at least a year. Do most services charge by total drive capacity or data recovered? The drive was only around half full if I recall correctly. [editline]01:29AM[/editline] Also, I've read good things about Ontrack. Can anyone offer any input on that?
