too bad the details were actually leaked in that video right?

That was apparently an old build from months ago though
"Pre-order now based off the name alone!"
Didn't they do this for BF4?
This kills the gaming industry
I'm incredibly disappointed they're doing the "new game every year" thing.

gotta compete with cowadoody somehow
Honestly who cares. The type of person who would preorder Hardline after BF4 loves Battlefield enough to get it sight unseen regardless. Yeah it's dumb to preorder this, but can't hate EA for taking people's money while people are talking about the game.
I hope most of the people who preordered Battlefield 4 learned their lesson. Let's sit this one out for a bit guys.

i don't think the problem should be it's one game a year, the problem is that they don't put the effort into their games
if they could make a good game each year hell i wouldn't mind, but they just make broken games then fix them after release
[editline]30th May 2014[/editline]
also, i gotta say i lost all interest when they showed off attack jets and helicopters
it's clear they wanted to make something a little different but were too afraid to change anything and so they end up with a setting that doesn't fit the bill

Battlefield 4 still isn't fixed.
Hardline is a mod. That's all it is. It uses the same sounds, same voice overs (So far) Same everything. The only thing different are the models, and game modes. It could, and should, be released as a $20 to $30 expansion to Battlefield 4. Hopefully DICE hands off the fixes they put together from this new group of testers they formed out of the players who pay $50 for Premium
You know, reading that, I'm even more pissed off. We paid $60 for a broken game, basically nothing more than a paid beta. Then people with Premium, an additional $50, are allowed to opt into more testing that's going on either now, or soon
EA has managed to not pay for any testing, but make people pay them to do it. Great

Fucking Skyrim is less buggy than BF4.
That's really saying something.

"Leaked".

Funniest thing of all, it makes BF4 "beta" an actual demo for a beta. Seeing how they not just not fixed stuff people found in "Beta" before release, they added more bugs. And alpha... something terrible.
Even through this isn't the original dice team's work I still fear for battlefront
I'm not gonna pre-order Hardline, but I'll probably pick it up on release if I hear it's good.

Not sure where you're getting any of that info from, especially when the only details we have come from a fairly old build which tend to use...
dun dun duuuuun
placeholder sounds amongst other things!
£60? Fucking hell

Judging by the trends, it takes a good decade for gamers to learn anything and start applying it.
Am I the only one who found BF4 entertaining? I also think the whole "BF4 is extremely buggy" is overblown.

It took me one game to figure out Infinity Ward can no longer make shit.
My first $60 buy-close-to-release CoD game was Black Ops. I went from that to MW3, which stripped out everything Black Ops did right. Black Ops II came out and I loved it. I looked at who was developing Ghosts, told all my friends not to buy it, and all of them were severely disappointed when they did.

I mean the community overall. It takes a lot of Call of Duty sequels and Rock Band/Guitar Hero sales before people start figuring it out.
I fell for the hype for BF3 and 4. Not this time
If it's good a month after release, I'll think about it.
It is $10 more on the Canadian store then the American store. What is this?
i wouldn't even buy this on release, let alone pre-order
better off just waiting 6-8 months for the game to be actually playable
"Footage from six months ago was leaked, forcing EA and Visceral’s hand"...
Yeah, right! An intentional leak, to say the least.
The hype train was encouraged with gameplay from a 6 month old build.
The PR stunt worked and people are salivating over the game. That's why the preorders are opened to the masses.
Can't believe im saying this but I'm probably going to buy it for the singleplay - i get the feeling it's going to be in the same vein as bad company 2.

There was an issue with the game where deploying a silencer would silence the WHOLE game.
Let that sink in dude.

It's not like this footage is 7 months old and that placeholders don't exist! Fuck EA for using a common practice in footage you aren't even supposed to see!
