They saved the concept for DLC, don't see why that'd detract from the game as a whole.

The season pass isn't cheaper for people who buy DLC seperately anyways,

It's in development, it won't be out until mid-March and will contain 3 new maps on top of the ones already in the game. Sure, AvP 2010 had it but it sucked ass.
