I have Vista x32. I was going to upgrade to Windows 7 x64, but I just fucking found out you can't do that.
This is fucking wonderful. Is there anything I can do BESIDES having to do a clean install? I mean really what am I going to put 200+ gigs of data on...

Do a custom install. It moves all your shit to a folder called Windows.old.

The folder structure is intact, but you have to go into Windows.old yourself and copy everything back over to where you need it.

Yeah I need to buy a External HDD and back up anyway. I didn't know about the folder.
