From the perspective of the consumer - this is horrible. But think of it from Monolith's view, they'll make a bit of money off of idiots for what their artists can do in an hour.
Come to think of it, that's all most DLC is.
Do these "cards" actually have anything to do with gameplay?
On one hand it's good that these DLCs wouldn't affect gameplay but on the other, if they're just virtual cards, then that's really fucking stupid

No. they do fuck all.
did they optimize the game yet because running it on the lowest of settings gives me like 10-25 fps while crysis 2 on highest gives me like 40-50
