I'm looking for a good in-game browser like Steam's for my standalone games(I don't want to open the game via Steam)
Does anyone knows a good program to open in-game browser? I tried PlayXpert but it doesn't work.
Thanks for your answer!
There is xfire.
Why not simply use alt+tab?

Because it's annoying to have to alt+tab the game all the time, for example, to see a map in a website.
And if you're in a waiting screen you can loose track of the time.
i'm fairly certain you can add other software to your steam library, launch it through steam, and the overlay is automatically available.

Is there a reason you don't want to use Steam? Is it because you don't want to open Steam and click use its library? It's possible to add it to the library and then make a shortcut to it to your desktop. If you like Steam, it's probably just best to set it up with your games and replace your desktop icons with the Steam shortcuts for the game and whatnot, so it would be seamless.
If for some reason you really don't want to use Steam, all I can think of is Raptr. I think it might launch itself automatically if it detects the game? I don't recall.

My problem is that Steam in-game menu always crashes for me if I'm using a big game. I use it with DayZ, but after 10 minutes it closes and I can't open that menu unless I restart the game.
Overwolf?
Steam is really the best and one of the few options out there
I doubt you'll have much luck with other solutions if steam's doesn't work for you for whatever reason, as if its doing that you probably are simply running out of memory trying to run a browser overlay on a game, or something along those lines

Overwolf looks nice. Does it work with DayZ?

It's just a overlay. Should work with DirectX and OpenGL. So yeah.
