Jeez no wonder that patch is like 5gb's in size, thats awesome.
This game is awesome.
Is there a game you’d like to see get some 64-bit support?
Unless windows, stops supporting 32 bit applications any time soon, i really don't care? Why should i?
More bossfights with Zilla, eh? Well that's definitely promising, 'cause after all that buildup throughout Act 3, having it end with a cutscene fight and [sp]Zilla escaping on that helicopter[/sp] was admittedly a bit weak. Still, this is even more reason for me to do another playthrough and slice up some oriental demons once again (at a proper framerate this time)! I wonder if they have anything new not mentioned by the patch notes?
- Added DirectX 11 based graphics. that means its just using DX11 now or there is new DX11 effects too?

Its important because it allows more memory usage, which doesn't automatically mean a game is magically more optimized, but having the freedom to load more memory and removing a restriction is always a good thing. You should care because the quality of your games, their content, their amount of content, their amount of active content on screen at a time, your quality of life (stuttering) and if your computer is up to date with current trends.

If they need more memory to implement a feature, and need to move to 64 bit because of it, sure go ahead. But without that feature it doesn't make a practical difference on Windows.
Really an amazing game but the ending made me go "What the fuck is going on with this"

I really liked the game but it lagged like shit when I played it. I hope this patch is going to make it more optimized.
Same here, here's hoping we don't have that problem with the new updates.
Really liked this game when I played it but it definitely felt a bit too long.
Really an amazing game but the ending made me go "What the fuck is going on with this"
My problem with the ending, and those type of last scenes in general, is that while it was all dramatic and emotional, I really wanted to know what happened to the characters/general world afterwards I really loved Shadow Warrior but found the last portion of the game an absolute struggle (fuck that gas mask level) so I'm not entirely sure I'd wanna play through the whole game again to see these updates
I feel like it got a bit too serious towards the end. The story was definitely a lot better than I expected it to be, but I was hoping it would be more of a fun, ridiculous ending than a dramatic ending.

And let's not forget the final shitstorm of enemies right before the last confrontation with Zilla, holy shit that was a rough battle. But then you finish the Nobitsura Kage, and the charge up to Ameonna's resting place becomes somewhat of a visceral joke, since you're slicing through demons with sword beams and making the Shadow Realm your bitch. But yes, Act 3 definitely had quite the shift in tone.
Unless windows, stops supporting 32 bit applications any time soon, i really don't care? Why should i?
Ever played a large unity game? It pretty much sucks ass since they have a tendancy to crash from out of memory errors because until recently Unity had shit 64bit support until Unity 5, so you got games like wasteland migrating over to it because it fixes a load of issues.
The game runs like motherfuckin' butter now. Twice my native resolution at 200+ fps (no vsync obviously). Unfortunately, downscaling seems to be necessary because anti-aliasing doesn't do its job anymore. Forcing it on doesn't seem to work, either. Also this update was supposed to come out in 2013, and the boss fights and improved visuals (in some areas) shipped with the console version last year. FWH did this with Hard Reset as well, they seem kind of flaky.
isn't working for me, I just get a immediate crash
