Upgrading Heatsink, dont know where to start. - Hardware & Software

I just finished my new build and i want to OC, my mobo is built for it and i have the Black edition Phenom 2 x4 955. 3.2 Ghz. I can not OC with stock heatsink and i dont want to buy the wrong one. Please halp?

You can get to 3.5ghz on stock volts and cooler with no heat problems.

I also HIGHLY recommend you read how to apply thermal paste to a CPU.You can't just throw some on!Too much and it won't cool right,while too little won't cool at all.

Alright, well right now im at 3.2Ghz on a stock heatsink. How high do you think i can Oc to at least 3.6?

unless you have a good Nothbridge heatsink you should get the Xigmentick NB cooler

Price, I have used it I idle at about 27c, HDT, you really don't need more than 4 pipes, 6 won't give you drastically better temps, size is small enough mugo is pretty large. The chipset heatsink because the 7x0G series can get hot as a motherfucker
