So ever since I got Fraps off of my secondary drive since I did a wipe, it's a laggy bitch that lags on every game that usually goes fast (and records in High Definition too.). Unfortunately I haven't have been having this problem until I switched over.
I did a little detective work and looked in my processes. I saw a * 32 by fraps.exe and fraps64.dat.
This still doesn't solve my problem, however.

So what I am guessing, Fraps is running in a 32 bit mode.
Can anyone help me out? Someone said that recording to your other drive rather than C:/ helps a lot but I had no success.
How high did you set the FPS in fraps?
Fraps is nothing more than a bitch.
Does fraps save the video to the same drive the game you're playing is installed on?

60 fps, Half-size. Seems to help in GRID. I tested it not too long ago.

No, you can specify where the movies save, and that's my other drive. D:/.
is it physically other drive or just other partition ? because if you're recording to the same physical drive where you playing/running windows on it, Fraps will most likely lag you like hell if it's not SSD.
