Matthew 28:18-20
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

With your powers combined, I am CAPTAIN FLAMEWAR!
Why do you keep asking questions about the Bible?
Perhaps you should pick up a bible before you write it off as a stupid fairytale, who are you to judge what you don't understand?

A really good toilet paper brand.

Now I have an urge to go to a petting zoo or something and read chapters from the Bible in a really funny but obviously fake accent. At the animals, I mean.
The Holy Bible?
Oh you mean toilet paper
Right next to:
'I permit no woman to teach or to have authority over men; she is to keep silent.'

Presumably in the old testament. Doesn't stop certain extreme Christians from ignoring the bit where Jesus says "Actually, you know that shit we were teaching you earlier is kind of a dick move, do this instead and be nice" and using that kind of stuff as the foundation for their every opinion on society.

Bear in mind that there is no original copy of the bible
Every Bible is in someway edited to suit said religion
Where in the Christian Bible does it say being gay/bi is a sin.
Exactly it doesn't, it encourages others to spread love to those people.

If critical analysis is biased then I guess I'm biased.
The bible is way aged and really not appropriate to live after, and alot of christians realise that.
Where in the bible does it say its based on real events?

Sounds like a lot of people don't understand the enormous contributions that Christianity has brought to the Western world.
What religious politicians and the pope say is not the truth. There are no passages against gay marriage or abortions.
It makes me laugh when FPers criticise religious people who are trying to spread their faith through generally non-intrusive means, yet as soon as someone mentions the bible you become elitist arses making toilet paper and fiction jokes.
