• Multiple Audio Outputs?
    3 replies, posted
So I got a USB headset for Christmas, and I've got a 5.1 surround sound speaker system, but Windows will only let me use one or the other. When I go into my Sound Playback properties, I have to set one or the other to be the Default, otherwise I get no sound. Is there a way to have my PC output sound all the time to both so I don't have to fuck with my audio properties every time I want to switch between headphones and speakers?
I wanted this too. But apparently people keep saying that Windows cannot do this properly.
Depends on your drivers, not Windows. The Realtek drivers for example have the option to join them together.
I have SoundMax
